Thank you to this year's donors for the Still She Rose initiative annual campaign. We are honored to have recently awarded another cash grant to a woman exhibiting consistent promotion of mental health in the pageant industry via social media and personal initiatives.
In September 2024, the charity gala held at the Orlando Rosen Centre brought together nearly 150 guests to promote Still She Rose and positive mental health practices.
The recipient of the event's $500 grant is Jasmine Foley of the United Kingdom. This grant was made possible by program Ambassador Elizabeth J Cron and The Pageant Lab.
Jasmine created an organization called Raising Them Resilient, with the goal to recognize the signs and address bullying among children.
While attending the gala weekend activities in Florida, she said, "The wellness workshop was a special moment for me. It’s refreshing to see an organization that lives by its values."
As an Ambassador of the Still She Rose initiative, Jasmine will host Empowerment Day in her home country of the United Kingdom during March 8 International Women's Day festivities. Learn more on the official event website.
The recipient of the Top Fundraiser award and a $250 cash grant was Essence Keys of Illinois. Over $10,000 was raised through the annual fundraising campaign hosted by Spotfund.
Charity Gala attendees dressed in floral formalwear and danced to tunes led by Pageant Concepts AV. Additional program statements were provided by program co-founder Laura Clark and program coordinator Maggie Lemay.
Funds raised this year have helped the B4ACUSA Foundation provide wellness initiatives via social media as well as in person at pageant partner events. Pageant support also includes distribution of a wellness workbook, social media webinars and live mindfulness or goal setting sessions with chosen Ambassador leaders.
